based on my experience lang sir mas ni lungtad man akong 97model carb na kurmata kay sa FI. siguro naka timing lang ko ug seasoned kaayo nga shop.

yan din sabi ng mekanik friend ko.. mas easy daw ayusin ung carb kasi simple lang.. pero, i think depende narin talaga sa tao yan.. if swito kayo ang makanik sa mga new tech na FIs, then para sa kanya madali nlng ayusin.. it all comes down to personal preference.

para sakin, parang gusto ko din ung carb, tipong old schooler na new tech.. hehe..

surplus ng ecu how much + depende sa brand.
surplus ng carb?pwede tansplant if you like.example 4k carb 1.5k lang with less fuel consumption.

ipa subay daw sa electrician if naka ground pa ba ang carb boss.. ang esi sa ako bro, dako na nagasto sparks plugs,fuel pump, tune up, adjust timing, na usab ra gamay pero way pwersa unya ang idling irratic kaau, gi check ra sa electrician nakit-an ang supply sa carb wa naka connect. hahaha pag konek perting himsoga, idling constant.

i suggest that top overhaul should be done first to check your valve seal if it leaks or had a cuts cause usually if you have a blue or dark smoke probably your combustion chamber is contaminated with oil. try to replace your valve seal and cylinder head seal first and then conduct compression testing of each of your cylinder by a certified mechanic.
