I cant believe people are falling for the political move ni Zubiri.

Obviously, his reputation would have been tarnished even more had the issue dragged on.

Wa na gyud ko kasabot how people still praise him as if there was no cheating at all.

there goes a great politician down the drain! gosh. pimentel wasn't able to win in his turf (cagayan) while zubiri goes way up in his turf (bukidnon). if you happen to know bukidnon and cagayan are just border provinces... this goes to which is more popular in there places.

its not really much of praising him but this is a few acts that we have in our politics.

i haven't seen much in our politicians today who resigned, alleged involving in cheating or whatever it is. we can only count many of them still in their post and acting like wala ra. a good example is Lacson.

The difference between what zubiri did compared to what an erring politician in japan would do is that zubiri didnt admit guilt. He disregarded the allegations as baseless . Kung you feel that you rightfully won the election and wala gyud ka manikas, would you allow yourself to be cowed into resigning or vehemently defend your right?

Klaro naman zubiri knows nga that senate seat was not rightfully his.... Wala ko ma impress sa iya gi buhat kay wala siya mu admit ug guilt or even acknowledge that there was indeed cheating that happened whether instigated by him or sa admin to his benefit.

I find it very difficult to believe.

i didn't say he doesn't have any idea with the election fraud. for sure he was a beneficiary of the fraud but, in my view its still a good act considering how stubborn and greedy our politicians of power and position. he might not be admitting it but some politicians are just like that, they leave it up to the people. weather its true or not. that is something you cant take away from them, but its good they resigned rather than forcing themselves to stay in their power which is a common act in our country.

IMO, he wasn't a bad senator, i would still rather have him than Koko. isn't it also Koko was alleged with election fraud. with this, its all the same, its just the sad reality for him cause the current govt was all chasing the past administration and its allies. its like PNoy is too in love with GMA's administration. for 2 years now, its all about the previous administration. the bad thing is, when its allies is alleged then the Govt went passive.. i never see TUWID NA DAAN there. i am not pro GMA or anti PNoy, but this type of govt who keeps on chasing all the past will never solve a problem. i know these have cons and pros but if were aiming to be progressive i'd rather leave the past and lets start with what we have now. somehow. i can partly agree that PNoy is trying to use GMA to save his image.

politicians/govt always choose to resign? thats a big joke, i only said these guys in the govt. will never choose to resign despite alleged into scandal. they always want their post. we can only count a few.
