Faulk is done... running back with a reconstructed knee?? That's a career-ending injury... but of course, these are super athletes.. we'll never know.

Yeah, my BUCS are done for the season (I don't see them coming back from 2-5 and going to the playoffs ... but my Packers are going strong winning 2 in a row. Ahman Green is also back on the roster after being on the injured list for the first few games.... my other team, the Broncos.. they dropped a close game last weekend.. very close... that game could be the AFC champ preview.

Yup, I think Faulk is done but he will always be remembered for his record-setting 2000 season and the 2002 nailbiter against the Patriots.

The Caulpepper-led Dolphins are 1-6? WTF... I guess they're done for the season.
How bout Vince Young's Titans... 2-5....
The Bears are still perfect so are the Colts with 7-0. I don't know why a mighty potent-offense team such as the Colts could turn into a generic team during playoffs. I hope they could have a shot at the Superbowl this time.
Broncos and Patriots are going well so are my bets, Ravens and Falcons.

@Ian I hope you weren't betting on an undefeated season. This isn't the first time that the Dolphins have defeated an undefeated Bears team. In 1985, the Dolphins did it to the 12-0 Bears when they were threatening the Dolphins still unmatched undefeated 1972 season. But I bet your hoping for the same outcome of that 1985 season though, huh? A Bears championship. Well, I am really looking forward to watching the upcoming Bears Giants game this week. Should be a good one. Monday morning 9:00 a.m. here in Cebu.

@EZRA, can you believe that both of our teams were in the super bowl only 4 seasons ago Now we have to suffer through this. At least your team won that super bowl game. We have sucked including that game forward. Such is the life of a dedicated fan.... Grrrrrrrr. I don't have any other teams, it's the Raiders only and I hate the rest.

The Raiders' offense is a joke. The defense must be so frustrated. I wasn't able to watch the game in Hong Kong, the brand new hotel I was in had nice slim flat-screen tv's but they only had 3 channels, I guess no cable hooked up yet. I tried to find somewhere to watch but nobody was open for business early in the morning. Oh well, just as well, I would been pissed off anyway, but no, not surprised. I just saw a replay this morning here. They can't protect the QB, so they can't pass the ball. They have to pass the ball because they are usually behind or find themselves in long yardage situations. When Brooks comes back it will be no better, I think that he will fumble the ball more anyway.
Let me see, worst scoring offense, worst passing offense, most turnovers (although only 1 in the last 2 games), most sacks allowed (an incredible 6 per game).

Oh well, I will still get up at 5 am tomorrow to listen to their game live on the radio vs the Broncos.

Good luck against the Broncos .. lol .. I expect the Broncos to go all the way... they're really doing great this season

The Raiders is a joke... did you see how many times they got sacked against the Seahawks last week? I got disgusted that I turned off the TV... that was just pitiful. There's no chance for a QB to prove himself if the offensive line are that weak. And now they're facing against the Bronco's quick defense.... and of course, JOHN LYNCH.

Well, just got through listening to the Raiders vs. Broncos game. Of course the Raiders D played a nice game as usual, but the offense layed an egg... or a dozen.... as usual. The Raiders' Defense set up the only Raiders' TD of the game by intercepting the ball and giving the offense the ball at the Broncos' 15 yard line. Janikowski also had a 55 yard field goal. The Raiders led at halftime by 6 points and nobody scored in the 3rd quarter. The Broncos scored a TD to go ahead by 1 with 11 minutes left in the game. Okay, we need to get a field goal in about 11 minutes of playing time to go ahead, surely an NFL team could do that, right? Not the Raiders..... On the first possesion after the kickoff: Raiders went 3 and out after a first down false start penalty. Second possesion (after a Denver punt): On the first play, Walters gets sacked, fumbles, and the Denver recovers. Then Denver ran some clock and then kicked a field goal to go ahead by 4 with just under 2 minutes left. Third posession: No time outs, and now we need a touchdown, still some hope, right... not with this offense. On first down Walters fumbles the snap from center and Denver recovers. Raiders no time outs left, Plummer kneels for 3 downs, game over, end of story.... pathetic offense finds a way to lose another one. How about this for some 4th quarter Raiders offensive statistics (literally they are OFFENSIVE, they stink): 3 posessions, 6 plays total, 3 yards total net offense, one penalty, 1 punt, 1 sack given up, and 2 turnovers..... have you ever seen so much of a mess mixed into 6 plays??

If the offense was just an average offense, then the Raiders record would .... aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh , why even bother....hahah!!

Next week, at Kansas City.... can we even win a division game this year We didn't last year and are 0-3 this year vs the AFC West (11 losses in a row now to them), and 2-19 vs the AFC West since 2003 (after their Super Bowl crushing, talk about a super bowl hangover).

Such is the life of a dedicated Raiders' fan !!
Plus, we still have more super bowl championships than any other AFC West team. Hey, I have to throw that in, it's all I got right now...heheh.

If only Walter gets a chance to prove himself.... the defense did their job... interecpepted Plummer 3 times I think.. 2 sacks, not bad for a struggling team (both by WARREN SAPP.. YEAH!!) ... but Walter couldn't do anything if the offense can't work with him. He was sacked three times.. a lot less than last week. No interceptions either.. but if you can't give the passer enough time in the pocket, it's still useless... it's just sad `cause you got Randy Moss.. one of the league's best receivers.

Randy Moss. King of one-handed catches.

Yup, no QB is productive with a poor offensive line.

Ezra, looks like your Bucs can't hold a lead when they get one either. The D's can only do so much, it must be so frustrating for them. Some of them probably offered to play both ways (offense and defense). Might do a better job in the Raiders' case...heheh.

OT: I wish I could see that Michigan vs. Ohio State game this weekend but I haven't seen any college football games on this year. Man, number 1 vs number 2 and both big time rivals from the same conference. That would be a good pre-event to the Pacquiao fight cuz the football game will start at around 4:15 am or so on Sunday morning.

    ThanX
