well, i was expecting for you to say that jokes are half meant...yes jokes comprise of 50% truth...the church doesn't pay taxes BUT they don't force people to give or donate money. dpende nlan na sa kung knsay willing muhatag. isa pa, makita man pud nimo kung asa muadto ang kwarta nga ilang ginacollect. sama tong nagsimba ko sa Don Bosco tong sunday, they had collections for the filipino missionaries they sent abroad... pfft! i commend his humor but i don't buy it. people who don't know their worth in life needs other people to pull out some inspiration. pathetic isn't it?
"What matters most is what you believe in" - Dan Brown
it's not.
all he's saying is about the truth regarding religion
religion made you and other believers believe that there is a cop in the sky who watches every li'l thing you do.
and about the money, the catholic church is the richest of the rich!they don't pay taxes, but you have no idea how much these churches receive every mass! most especially on sundays! yeah they don't require you to give, but they'll persecute your conscience and you'll end up giving money!
kuwang na lang kay ingnan ka nila nga "you will burn in eternal hellfire once you don't give money!"
other churches even require tithing! LIKE PUH-LEASE! i find it unnecessary, unless if the leaders are really really starving![]()
