Note: ARCtech_Sales, one of your sales ladies said that the latest Liteon dvd writer model they sold was last priced at P7000+. Is this true? I would assume that she was referring to the dual layered model. If this is the case, then what a big jump in price!!!!

We are sorry for the miscommunication. We admint, we are not perfect and sometimes the speed of the technology change catches up with us. I've always turned to ARCtech when i made big purchases as well as 90% of my modding materials back when i was still an active modder. The reason being on of the best here in Cebu when it comes to warranties and replacements. Some of my big purchases:

Radeon 9800pro - 22k
Logitech Z680 - 18k
IdeQ SFF - 14k

Fortunately i did not require a replacement for the speakers and the video card. The SFF however was a different matter. I simply did not like the cooler that came with it, it was inadequate, or so i thought. Anyway, that's i wanted to have the cooler replaced. You know what ARCtech did? they replaced the entire Small Form Factor @ 0 cost.

@Warfab: If we talk about petty mistakes on computer technologies, then i think every computer store in this planet would be guilty of it. Give me 1 computer store here in Cebu that does not make this mistake and i will personally do an inquiry that will prove they are but human beings in a small room trying to sell computers for a living. But if that is your standard for quality of service there is not much ARCTech or any other computer shop can do. They will simply let you go as one of those harder to please customers. Forgotten amongst the countless faces they (the crew) see everyday and feared to become a potential scarecrow (scarebuyer to be blunt).

Warfab anime: It is actually quite confusing to buy a DVD writer nowadays wherever shop you will go, even if you go to the manufacturers website. You see, in buying a DVD writer here the things one should consider:
1.) Speed : Are you looking for 2x,4x,8,x12x,16x etc..
2.) + or - : Some writers that are capable of BOTH + and - are ALSO LABELED as "DUAL" also which makes it very confusing for the END USER and the I admit, the reesllers as well.
3.) Media : There are different kinds of media,
Singled Layered Single Sided,
Dual Layered Single Sided or DVD9 as others may call it
Single Layered Double Sided and
Double Layered Double Sided.

Now all the manufacturers like LITEON, SONY, YAMAHA, PLEXTOR etc.. have different models whose specs are a combination of the above 3.

Yes we do have a DVD writer, that is capable of writing Dual Layered at 7+, this was, if im not mistaken a 4x or 8x writer, the latest DUAL layered DVD writer of LITEON is capable of upto 16X already which of course has a higher price.

If you will kindly be more specific with what you are looking for or give me the specific MODEL NUMBER or link me to a site then we will more than gladly give you the accurate price and availability.

@Zerone_null: But didn't my posts here help Archtech in improving their services by pointing out their flaws? I just wanted to point it out to them so they could improve. I already know that no store in any kind of business is 100% service perfect. In my book, Archtech comes second when it comes to service. My posts doesn't mean that I really think Arctech is very horrible
