why Cebu don't have a Train?

mas nindot unya kong naay MRT diri sa cebu kay para d kaayo traffic like sa singapore.. daun, instead of kanang mga flyover buhaton nalang na ug train station para ma ibanan ang traffic.. kong dili road widening nalang.. mao ra jud unta nay solution.

its nothing got to do with corruption, most project can still be finished regardless of corruption and overpricing, its a matter of political will, i too was able to go to Central Azucarera de Bais/Bais City to check if its the train from cebu, sad to say its not... everytime i go to Tanjay City, i never fail on checking the lost train of cebu... all i know is it was sold to negros which negros nobody knows! for now sa Oriental pa ang ako search... if only i have time to research sa old archive sa cebu...

Dako na trabahoon kung mag put up ug train station sa cebu... It will be a good source of corruption for politicians and warlords if ever will push thru.

we do have before!!, the train had been sold to sugar cane plantation at negros.... (there is a discussion about this i here try searching)

i also like cebu to have a train, but i doubt it will push thru, why? too many parties would probably against it 1) Bus Companies 2) Shipping Companies

reasons for not reviving trains in cebu are financial.

for one. d nato kuno ma meet ang population para mka finance sa operating cost sa trains.

thats one reason why dili gyud nah ma push thru sa cebu kay kapila nah gyud nah gisurvey/gistudyohan,, gansi gyud kaau ang gobyerno sa pag operate if naa

would you believe nga ang trains/mass transport system sa manila wa pa na impas.. and nagbayad gihapon ang gobyerno.. for short kita wala did2 nka sakay nagbayad ghapon tah. i thnk 60% sa plete sa MRT/LRT ang gi subsidize sa gobyerno..

hmmm maybe because we have narrow roads? Mean we dont have much space for the rails.
But i saw pics from the 1940's up to 1970's/80's cebu used to have trains as transportation.

sa una naa to ang south bus terminal moy, train station sa una...

so far sa akong panan aw nice cya if nay train but short distance man gud kasagaran sa cebu... but there's nothing wrong if ma pun an atong transportation...
