I can assure you that Davao is not following the 'footstep' of Cebu or Manila and does not want to, we always tend to see the mistakes that you don't even notice.* People here by nature, being pioneers, are independent minded enough to implement landmark moves that are oftentimes the first in the country.* What you shallowly interpret as slowness is actually a careful step of strengthening the city's basic potentials.
I notice that you seem to have a 'talangka' attitude nga ganahan mosira sa isigkatawo para intawon makasaka ka.* Attitudes like yours are what causes the ugliness in this country.
That's hypocrisy..You may want to read Davao-Thread in SSC Forum and find out how your kababayan's longing to have those developments being enjoyed by Manila, Cebu and even other parts in Mindanao like CDO and Gensan.
Those people are mostly from the real-estates firm and were expressing such interest of having those developments being poured out to davao as well.
Do you think other cities don't have proper zoning,road structures and etc.? then why investors decided to establish their businesses where in those mentioned above are considered as factors in pouring out investments.
Yes you're right, Davao today is getting lots of developments as well, and that's something that you need to be proud of. Stop those, pardon me from using the word "Foolishness" that Dabawenyos were only up to Nature loving type of people, that's really hypocrisy. Judging from your statements, you even elaborated Davao's achievement ,that alone implies how you want Davao to be one of the places people would be looking forward to.
Wait until Davao will be on its full bloom and you would understand why Manila, Cebu, CDO, Iloilo and other progressive cities becoming polluted, its simply the prize of being progressive.

I've been to the Major Cities in the Philippines and I would say each places has its own story of development.
I'm hoping forumers will not just post something that they read from blogs or from what they heard, because you really can't tell and statements might sound contradicting.
The TS Simply want to share Davao and Cebu to the rest , he even specified "walay daotay, sayway".
Le'ts all get back from where it started, a simple posting of Picture means a lot.
