A good investment is something that you are into, something that interest you.

It depends on where you are skillful & knowledgeable.
For me, I would say Real Estate because I know it.
Why would I invest in stocks when I don't know or feel the whole system?

both are actually good forms of investments. if i may suggest, develop your investment portfolio in wide range of investment vehicles.

in my case, i stick to simple formula of allocating to the ff:

mutual fund
real estate
business fund
real estate fund
emergency fund
coop investment

happy investing
