my online gaming lags even with fast globe plan

sa globe ra na nga problema boss. naay mga online games na dili jud compatible sa globe. if naa kay kaila nga dili globe sulayi ug duwa didto ang kana imo giduwa if ok ba.

Globe user sad ko bro, ipacheck kuno na ug balik imong connection bro dial 211, mao sad nay case nako first pag install nila(1Mbps Plan), hapit na gud nako gipabaklas nila akong connection , they found out nga guba-on di-ay akong port sa cabinet nila, pag reconfigure nila voila!! kini akong gi sign-upan nga plan hehehe pero labad sad lagi akong ulo for three days, tanang test ako nang gibuhat atut uy undetectable ra ba sa speedtest, pingtest, karon 8000 Kbps akong downstream speed sa router, pimiro gitaga-an lang kog 384 Kbps

ako na gisulayan pod apil ang clean reformat. mao ragyapon.



right now, i discovered nga if i remove the antena of the modem, na reduce ang lag sa game. wala man switch to turn off the wifi of the modem so gi remove ra nako ang antena. na improve manjud ang performance. na reduce jud noticeably ang lag. but i still have to do more tests.

oops. lag diay gyapon. even if remove noko ang antenna, the wifi signal is still there.

i requested globe to replace the modem with the old one nga walay antenna. dili man sila musugot.
so i asked them to help me turn off the wifi signal of the modem becoz wala man wifi switch and in the modem settings naa man password.
they helped me turn of the wifi signal of the modem. gitudloan pudko nila unsaon pag toggle on or off sa wifi signal of the modem.

and now, voila! no more lag. it is confirmed in my case that globe modems with built-in antenna can cause online gaming lag. but if the wifi signal is turned off, the lag will be gone. thanks everyone for your input. case closed.
