@All well sa karon na panahon almost digital na gyud ang mga artists, some traditional artists despised the use of digital because they can't sell pencilled art and inked art on cons or anywhere. I have no qualms in doing digital as long as I enjoyed my work and the quality of it. But do you think people here in Philippines would like to buy artworks in traditional or in digitally printed artworks, considering the market here. What do you guys think?
the art is really refreshing. the story felt just right, even non-gamers wouldn't feel lost with the concept.
nakat-on ra ko nimo Dean, ikaw man ga push nako nga mo analyze!
@Jep
I think (and I could be wrong) digital art stands a better chance of getting sold here in the Philippines, in Cebu most especially...because most the audience doesn't or can't really appreciate pencilled or inked art. Traditional art looks "unfinished" when compared to digital sketches that can have gray tones and lighting effects.
I'm a traditional artist, only using digital tools to correct or touch-up illustrations, and I really wish a bigger premium was placed on standard pen-and-ink artwork.
