Dunay taga boljoon dinhi nga kamao mohimo ug torta? Share ta sa mga delicasies nato. Hapit na raba fiesta sa South Granada. Mao ni ako:

5 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup tuba
3 cups sugar
20 bisaya egg yolks
2 cups mantika sa baboy (cooking oil)
cottage cheese, cut in strips
1/4 tsp. salt
a pinch of anise


1. Pour the tuba into the flour. Add the salt. Mix well.
2. Add the sugar gradually into the egg yolks while beating well.
3. Add the oil. Blend well.
4. Put the mixture into a pan lined with paper and greased with butter or oil. Add anise.
5. Wait for 7 hours before baking to allow the batter to rise.
6. Pour into paper-lined torta tins (use waxed paper or kitchen paper), 2/3′s full, and bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 30 minutes or until light brown. Remove from the oven.
7. Brush tops with slightly beaten egg, arrange strips of cottage cheese, and sprinkle with sugar. Return to the oven and continue baking until topping is dry (about 5 minutes).
8. Remove from tins and cool on rack.
