Be sincere about your intentions.

You can start with simple greetings like:

If she responds and gives you a cue that she's fine texting with you, reply:

"Thanks. You don't know how how much this means to me. Anyway, was thinking maybe we could talk."
"About?"
"You and me..."
"We're over. Remember?"

Of course, she's slow so she'd ask "what" even if you already told her you can't tell her thru text. lol So just tell her the same thing again.
