Advice on Pimple / Acne Treatment

I think it's the same as Isotrex gel ---- a topical isotretinoin based gel, quite expensive though -
P600+ but proven a very effective topical cream

For washing your face try: Clean and Clear Daily pore cleanser---- milder and doesn't break you out unlike pond's products

P240 only for the tretinoin cream, may it be .05% or .1%.. If you buy in a local pharmacy, it is really more expensive because its branded.. now, benzoyl peroxide is also another solution, though its more of a cure, rather than a preventive measure

For me, it is advisable to to prevention so that the acne breakout will be controlled.. After using the cream and gel I have mentioned, you may choose to go to a derma 2 weeks after to check whether you will still need cleaning or acne surgery or not anymore

Proteus, you're right... It doesn't even have the same side effects... For example, you won't experience dryness of throat and mouth because this won't be taken internally, as compared to roaccutane... Isotrex Gel is like tretinoin gel

princessm, that is a very good suggestion, your local dermatologist should know what is good for you, you may also visit this site www.kate-jones.com many have given great feedbacks with the creams and solutions here... What topical medications are you using?

dont know if anyone of you has tried this...eskinol clear with dalacin c...sa isa ka 135 ml nga eskinol i put 250 mg of dalacin c.mapalit ra na sa mga drug store.and for the scars..kana bitawng detox cream sa ponds.works for me

na try pud nako ang pimple cream sa eskinol.ang sudlanan mara kadako sa nizoral ,canesten og teramycin.pagkabuntag uga gyud dayun ang bugas..if kung naa pa pula pula i put hydrocortisone, which is normally used to treat diaper rash.

and last but not the least and acne lotion nga gereseta sa ako dermatoligist. tag 150 lang ang bottle super effective..mara cyag foundation lang.then sabon para maminimize ang scars.pero ala na cya sa pinas fly na sya sa US.

in my case i observe if im under stress...mao na ang time mugawas ang pimple..im thankful kay di na kayo ko stress run hehe.so try sa magrelax and do yoga..it will help

You must be pertaining to clindamycin solution.. that is the end result when you combine dalacin-c and eskinol.. on the other hand, this may not be as effective with adults.. you may want to add more to this for it to be effective

Ive tried them all...hahaha here are a few of my good bets:

1. Try to find Kojic Soap and the whole set (clarifying lotion, medicated astringent, bleaching cream and sunblock) <-- best ive tried
so far, without breaking my budget. Cost is actually just about P750/set but some dermas will charge you thousands hehehe
But i tell you, its miraculous. hahaha I know so many believers! You will see
2. More expensive ones....Murad available in rustans (very effective too) specially the whole set... but pricey. Try their acne cream (w/ sulfuric acid) its got a funky smell after but it dries up the pimples overnight. P600 per tube.
***With these kinds of products, its usually true...the more expensive, the more effective...BUT not all expensive brands are right for you.

But the best bet would be: go see a real dermatologist. For pimple/acne problems don't go to a spa or an aesthetic center. they r just
trying to sell you their over priced products and their products might not be hiyang for you. If you have acne, go through the regimen of a mild cleanser (depends if your oily or dry), then toner/clarifying lotion, then a medicated lotion then sunblock.
Be careful of proactive guys....my friends have tried it and yes its good for the first weeks but then the pimples grow back and they are more stubborn after that first try. Proactive wasnt really made for asian skin. And lastly, DO NOT TOUCH YOUR FACE! drink lots of water and drink vitamin C.

clindamycin diay tawag ana..so far effective sya sa ako. till now im still using this. but as what ive said,cuz dili na kaayo ko stress run ala na sad ko pimples.naa man mugawas panagsa na lang ,kanang naa ko bisita ( u know what i mean hehe). i think its case to case basis.im not dermatologist,but i think,pimples should be treated depende kung unsa naka cause niya.ang lisud mabal-an kay kung unsa nakacause.pwede hormonal,dirt,or related sa food intake.

yes, case to case basis, pero normally, yan ang pinapagamit na liquid solution, if not, yung erythromycin

yung may nag suggest ng kojic acid soap, ganito nga pala ang itsura niyan, P55.00 lang yan

they say pimples are manifestations of some abnormalities inside the body...

i think i began to believe this when i had the worst case of acne in my life...i later found out that i had a big left ovarian cyst (fist-size) and had to be taken out before it bursts... my acne was hormonal-related...

so, i guess it also helps to have yourself medically checked by your physicians/gynecologist/any specialist from time to time
