I've studied piano for 9 years. i am in the 6th level of practical piano studies and 4th level of theoretical piano studies.

Going through it was HELL! we has to learn classical music and play the pieces on a grand piano infront of an examiner from Australia every year! if we pass, then go to the next level.

I guess, the nice thing is, we got certificates that state that we have reached that level and such..

But i suppose playing piano for the passion of it and not for the grades is the best thing.. i can't live without my piano... because of the piano, my hands have become the most precious thing i have.
