problem with my dvd writer..pls. help

Any specific software nga related to cd/dvd burning nga gi-install nimo after system restore? I've had problems before which involved hardware not working after some software was installed. The problems were usually solved by updates to the software or ,if I can't find updates to said software, I install the software and find an alternative.

Try to rule out the 'dvd-writer hardware' factor by having it installed on a friend's pc and test it out. If okay ra siya mo-burn, then you rule out the problem is with the dvd-writer itself. Di ba?

basig luag ra na power connector or ide cable sa imo dvd writer

turn off system restore and anti virus, then install those softwares, no need to install any other drives or softwares for the dvd drive, just Nero or any other burning software.

defective item na bro. try to flash / upgrade the firmware found on their offical website.

i have encountered a similar problem with you bro. everytime i tried to install a specific application mawala ako sony na combo drive. when i checked it a friends PC ok ra. ang cause sa akoa na prob is ang software na akong giinstall is downloaded from the net og gipakapinan diay og virus.
