Well that's your point. Pessimism kills. Just a warning I know where the taxes I'm paying are heading. No matter what your position is in this country we do pay taxes directly or indirectly. What I dislike about it is, we Filipinos do our share and contribute for this country, while the fact that the share we're contributing isn't on the right track, obviously.

I know what these government crocs are doing. But how about living for the children. Being a good, living example to them to end up emulating your passion to become a good example someday and won't be similar with those government crocs.

The Government system here is rotten. Everything you see is rotten. But if we work hand in hand with the hope of making this country a better place to live in would really make a big difference.

If all we do is complain, you think a miracle would happen?

    Think again.

If we can abolish the catholic church,
and change to a parliamentary form of government, I think a miracle will happen.

I also think we should support the RH bill.
There should be moves to control the population,
to minimize the growth of poor and/or uneducated people (mostly because they are poor).
They simply add to the burden of the government.
    * I am not anti-Poor, but we should all admit that it is a problem in our society.

Why do we continue to have traffic woes? traffic accidents?
Why do we continue to have flooded streets, often being blamed on poor drainage?
Why do we continue to have lack of books, tables, and chairs in schools?
Why do we continue to have shortage of food, resulting to imports?
Why do we continue to have streetchildren and homeless people in streets?
Why do we continue to have petty crimes resulting to rape and deaths?

There is lack of education, lack of food, lack of work, mostly... a lack of everything, even money.
These are mostly due to a rising population that the government can no longer sustain and control.
And also because of the Filipino's "bahala na" attitude, leaving the government to do the work for them.
The Filipinos' continuous disregard of the past, or of history, is even more disappointing.

We know good-for-nothing people in government have never worked for the betterment of this country,
yet we continue putting them back into office.
We know trash destroys the beauty of the city and clogs drainages, yet we continue to litter.
We know pedestrians have right of way in a pedestrian lane, yet we continue to drive our cars.
We know jeeps should not be stopped just anywhere, yet we continue tell the driver to let us down.
We know skywalks are built for improving traffic, yet we continue to jaywalk.

Now, these are simple things even a simple Filipino cannot do.
Do you still think the Filipino is worth living for?
If you have a big heart as I think you do, than I salute you.

But damn, I would rather live and die for myself.

i agree with you sir! i'm grateful that a lot of people now realize it's right to exterminate the roman catholic church in the country! in that way, the burden of society would not be that heavy!

I got you. We are of the same opinion regarding spratly islands.

Though uncle sam would help us do the combat if ever China would raise hell and hostility, think of the disadvantages! The warship we have is now ages old.

So the government thinks we're in good hands if a war would start? Philippines will certainly be a battlefield and blood will definitely shed. Lots of innocent lives would be lost.

Goodness! I hope Noynoy is thinking about this! Otherwise, his incompetence could trigger war!
