bro i dont know if this helps, but it try lang pud daw ni...

*try to set your hdd to SATAII/SATA3Gb/s
*then if u can find it in bios, disable JMicron® JMB363 PATA and SATA controller(disables sata gray slots) and Marvell® PCIe SATA6Gb/s controller(disables esata,pata and sata black slot). this procedure will leave you with the 6-internal intel chipset sata ports.
*install your now sataII/sata3GB/s hdd and use any port left available/working
*reinstall OS, use drivers available from ASUS download page for the drivers/utility etc
*clean install latest catalyst driver.
*run and observe

you may also opt to reflash bios before doin the things above since it fixes compatibility errors, be sure to save old bios incase of problems. have a UPS on working condition and follow flashing procedure VERY carefully.

Reason for procedure:
i've read from the net about your mobo and some bsod(some paired with hd 5770) and mostly are caused by driver conflicts. siguro if ato kuhaan ang hardware ma minimize pud ang drivers installed and basin mu stabilize imo system.

bro naa pa koy last dice testing kuno ug uninstall tanan videocard driver nya driver sweeper inig human nya after reboot, manually install WDM driver only sa ATI video card, way labot ang catalyst control center,

Testing lang kay basin pariha nig issue sa ako sauna nga naay conflict ang CCC pero WDM driver lang mu OK

after uninstall tanan, go to device manager then manually install the WDM Driver for the Video card, (download sa daan ug WDM driver sa ATI Website) after installation test for stability, testing lang

I got freeze again and I re create the issue pag windows experience nako and at the same time nag play kog mp3 from WMP12.

What do you think is the problem? anyone who had encounter this?

@wikki: Yup sir ATI lage w/c I though ATI is much stable than NVIDIA. Sir hadlok nako anang update sa bios since gikan ko nag prob ana mas ni daghan na hinoon akong prob. Issue about bluescreen it happen once and I think it has been solved already since I have removed the Samsung Magictune Software and Driver of my LED/LCD monitor that causes this mess.

Yup I will turn my eyes back to NVIDIA right now coz on my previous RIG I dont have problem using NVIDIA GPU's.

Btw, as I checked there is a new BIOS update for my mobo where my current bios is on second one. Do you think I need to update it? it offers a lot of enhancements.

In my case ang magic tune walay ramay conflict sa nvidia drivers, remove magic tune nalang since ma manual raman nimo ang setting sa monitor. As for the update try updating lang the bios, Like I said my friends rig is now working perfectly fine with the latest ati driver pag update niya sa bios. There are proper instructions that comes with the bios file, follow properly lang.

Even if mag ilis ka nvidia card, updating the bios also helps sad in the overall performance of the system in your mobos case.

As for your Ati card, better change to nvidia if samokan na gyud ka, atleast sa nvidia di naka mag ka boang sa drivers, although medyo mahal gamay ang nvidia gpus compared to the ati counterpart. But its worth it.

You really need to update your bios. Mao say case sa friend nako his bios was using the stock version from the release of the mobo, daghan kaayo bugs and glitches.

Btw, updates: I was doing MEMTEST each stick of RAM @ 4-5PASSES w/o any errors so therefore I concluded its not in my RAMS nor my HDD's but in this ATI thing.

Yes, theres nothing wrong with the rams if they passed memtest those many times.

Take a look at the os event viewer, you'll see the cause of the problem there in the reports.
