Yes, because you don't seem to know how Makati got P10B in annual income. It was because he worked hard to convert Makati into a city separate from Manila, a move which was strongly opposed by all Makati businessmen at that time because they knew it would lead to higher taxes (cities can tax businesses directly whereas municipalities cannot). Taxes are governed by certain laws... Your so called "higher taxes" are computed by the Department of Finance and not by the LGU herein represented by the City of Makati... Before Binay came into the Makati Picture, Makati businessmen were enjoying High Income while paying taxes that weren't fit(very low) for their income class... Binay simply put everything in it's place and here you go yapping about High Taxes...
