The best is still to download DUmeter (or other bandwidth meter) and download a big file from for example microsoft.

Usually, if you use pldt and use the pldt bandwidth meter, you get your average speed from you to the pldt server, which should be high. Same for globe etc. But in real, you are most of the time downloading something from outside the country, so a bandwidth result from a server in US is more reliable.
