this is stilll running without OS so i don't think ning kick in pa ang CnQ. as soon as i get my raid card, i will load the os and post idle.

@earlz i have the x3440 xeon and i think the opteron will still be more energy efficient and to think six cores ni.

the g620t was very disappointing. although 35w tdp, taas ug idle wattage. also murag naay pay problem ang mga sandy bridge as the vengeance was experiencing reboots with this g620t build. even emoners had the same problem. i have a quad 45w instead. . . mas gamay power consumption at idle.

I have not tried the new xeons but I think the g620t is the next generation. Dili Lang server proc. I don't want to test out the new server chips because I wAs quite disappointed with g620t. It seems there might be a bug with the chip or the mainboard platforms do not yet interact well with the new gen procs. We both had the same exact problem with Emoners and we were using the new gen chips but totLly different mboard platform and even proc.
