allow me to share the fullest definition of prayer:

"Prayer is the raising of one's mind and heart to God or the requesting of good things from God." But when we pray, do we speak from the height of our pride and will, or "out of the depths" of a humble and contrite heart? He who humbles himself will be exalted; humility is the foundation of prayer, Only when we humbly acknowledge that "we do not know how to pray as we ought," are we ready to receive freely the gift of prayer.

*suffices to say that anything that does not possess the above character isn't prayer. It doesn't matter whether you revere the saints or not as long as you know what prayer means.

diritso ampo sa ginoo. if ganahan ka patabang sa mga saints ask them to help you but do not pray to them. we can learn a lot of things from the saints and even sa mga dili saints.

It matter because according to your description of prayer it mentions God not Saints, and saints are Not God - we dont even know where na sila. Jesus Christ did not even command his apostle to pray to Mama Mary his mother.

    Good day Wen.

To answer your query about KID's picture above...He is Mahatma Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi a very great political and spiritual leader of India in modern times. Personally I believe that if all government leaders have his kind of socio-political-spiritual attitude? Our world would long have been at peace.......He was a very RARE soul indeed.

"Humility is the mother of all virtues; purity, charity and obedience. It is in being humble that our love becomes real, devoted and ardent. If you are humble nothing will touch you, neither praise nor disgrace, because you know what you are. If you are blamed you will not be discouraged. If they call you a saint you will not put yourself on a pedestal"
    (Blessed Mother Teresa of Calcutta)
