Do your hardest for YOURSELF to understand that you are worth much more than any expensive gift they can offer.

Don't go killing yourself over this reasons.. grow up , and know that you did your best, and prove to them in the future that you yourself were your inspiration and not their gifts. Your own will and preserverance granted you success and not material rewards.
