Here are my own ways...
1. Pamper yourself. It feels good if you treat yourself when you're down like going to a parlor, go shopping, buy your favorite food or things.
2. Share your feelings. You could talk to a friend or someone who is comfortable to talk with about what you feel. In that way, you could also feel the care and love of someone and express your sentiments to them. It's one way of ovecoming pain instead of staying in one room alone.
3. Go out with friends or join any organization. You could go out with your friends so that you will not be distracted by your feelings. Joining any organization could also help you forget your sadness. In this way, you could socialize with other people and enhance you confidence.
4. Date someone. You could go out with someone during a heartbreak. This could make you realize that you could appreciate other person aside from your ex.
5. Understand and Accept. Understanding of the things that happen to you could help you move on and realize that it's not the end of the world yet. There could be a lot of opportunities that would come along the way. Acceptance also plays an importand role. You have to accept that you are not for each other and both of you deserve someone that could make you truly happy. Through understanding and acceptance, you may be optimistic of your tomorrow.
