Tallo leaves Ateneo: Right or Wrong Move?

DLSU is the best school if you want guaranteed playing time. All you have to do is negotiate (with) the Pumaren system then sign the dotted line.

From a basketball perspective Tallo could not have made a better choice at this point if he wants to "keep his status".

From a different standpoint...just look at some of the pics that MacMac has on his FB page, how he was treated with care by the people there....imagine if the tables were turned Mr. Mark Anthony. Parents should be example to their children.

I hope karma does not get in the way of your son's basketball career.

actually the reason he will not play in this season's UAAP is because La Salle submitted its final lineup prior to mac2x's arrival.

the 1 year residency rule will not be applied to mac2x mainly because he is not a transferee. he wasn't inrolled yet in ateneo when he transfered.

he's on team B now because the final line up was already submitted and are deemed final for this season.

Bro di siya kinahanglan mag-residency kay fresh HS grad siya, and even if he was already training with Ateneo wa siya ni-enroll didto, so dili siya ma-consider as a transferee. The Ateneo mgmt already said (through the press) nga di na kinahanglan si Tallo mag-residency, "He's free to go". Kung naka-decide pa sila ug sayo2x/if na-resolve dayon nila ang issue nya naka-abot siya before sa submission of lineups (and presuming Dindo Pumaren is that convinced of his prowess to make him a late addition to the team and learn on the fly), maka-duwa gyud unta siya this season.

Maayo ra sad di siya maka-duwa karon oi, a year of maturity and a chance to learn how it is to be playing in the UAAP (from an observer standpoint, like Blake Griffin did in his time on the injured list) will only make the transition smoother. Hopefully he follows Kobe's advice and "takes every advantage".

ang imo sigurong thoughts ang i-correct Bro, even Trillo nga team manager sa Ateneo already mentioned pag start pa sa issue sa paghawa ni Tallo nga wala problema si Tallo about residency issue kay wala na siya na enroll sa Ateneo. Trillo said Tallo can choose any UAAP team he wants. Na team B na ron siya sa La Salle kay na awahi na siya sa pag join sa La Salle basketball team for season 74, simple as that ra.

DIli ko makiglalis about anang word nga "impatient" Bro. Either impatient siya or dili wala ko paki ana, ang ako ra gi-point kay ang substance sa reasoning sa iyang Papa.

So ang word nga impatient or not is immaterial ani nga situation kay it will not prove to Ateneo's coach & community nga dili impatient si Mac2x.
