this is just a baseless theory... how could food get into hdd? a much likeable reason is that these fire ants are attracted to heat... you can search about this on google and u can almost recieve almost same reasons...

yup daghan instances, but its not because of literaly "food" that we ate... siguro something about the heat and rubber/foam/glue-stuff used on hdd inig melt or inig init na ma attract sila...

    7. Use as many screws to mount your HDD as possible, usually 4, some

techs will use only 3, I have seen HDDs mounted using only 1 screw.

Why? The 4 screws will ensure proper heat transfer from the HDD to

the case and will handle the vibration properly.

(In case your hard disk had a bad sector, use HDD Regenerator by dposoft. It Can Recover Damaged Sectors. I prefer it than Spinrite.)[/COLOR]

sir, there are some branded chassis which uses plastic clips instead of metal screw to hold the HDD, will it affect the heat transfer?

Yes, naa.

yes, but its a no issue. tests have been done before that shows data corruption or hdd failures are not caused by hdd temps. samot na kaha karon na harddisks run cooler than before.
