So far, i've tried 4 different DSLR camera systems.. Olympus (E520, E30), Pentax (K20), Canon (40D) & Panasonic (GF1).
Olympus & Panasonic are both 4/3's while Pentax & Canon are APSC's.
With all these, i'll choose my Petax K20 over my Canon 40D handsdown (but not over my Oly E30)... Tough and rugged, not to mention fully weather-sealed. It's more weather-sealed and lighter than the 40D.
The only reason i chose my Oly over this is because my Oly is far more lighter than all these and i can use the Leica lens of my Pana GF1 with my Oly...

But Pentax.. "Takes a beating, but keeps on clicking..."

All K-mount lenses can fit on a pentax DSLR body. Bisag katong mga lenses na dili pa uso ang DSLR igo kaau! Take note basta kay K-mount lang.

Camerahaus at SM have Pentax body and lenses available. If naa ka gusto na mga accessories naa pud sila didto. If wala pwede sila maka-order from their main branch sa Manila.

Third-party lenses like Tamron and Sigma are also available for pentax.

Since pentax DSLR bodies have build-in SR (Share Reduction) System, all your manual and auto-focus lenses will have the "VR" or "IS"!

hmmm most expert photographers are now acquiring k-x as their sidekick DSLR aside from their primary Canikon DSLR but their are lot's quite a numbers who used K-X as their primary weapon though hehe...yes... we have here a PGRC (Pentax Global Repair Center) Dept. in MEPZ - K-X by the way is assembled here sa MEPZ Cebu excluding the Lens because sa Pentax Vietnam na cya usually gi manufacture...u can call 032-3400505 local 1219 or 1234 - ingna lang ang makatobag nga e refer ka sa repair section kay naa kay ipa repair nga cam...both PNS and DSLR Pentax cameras are service here in MEPZ - gudluck

hi... naa me pentax na cam, pero dli K-X ( di pko kaafford ^_^) Pentax OptioS12 for 3 years nindot kaau xa ug kuha, pro karon naa na xay problem, blurred na iyang kuha then muclear xa kadugayan then balik na pud, unsa khay problem aning cam ko? mufix ba cla ani sa MEPZ? need it badly for Moalboal trip this July, please help... thanks ^_^
