    Article 1 of the Family Code provides, "Marriage is a special contract of permanent union between a man and a woman entered into in accordance with law for the establishment of conjugal and family life." So, unless and until this provision of the New Civil Code is amended, same *** marriages in the Philippines cannot be possible whatever personal stands/opinions each side provides.

    Question lang ko sa mga bayot/lesbian ug mga tao nga uyon sa same *** marriage diri sa Pilipinas

    Nganong Christian rites man inyo ginagamit sa inyo pagpakasala... aw pagpakasal? Dili diay pwede Muslim rites? Sulayi kuno ninyo ang Muslim rites musogot ba si ALLAH...tan-awon ta bag dili mo maputlan sa ulo........tapos mutag dayon ug "kay kristyano man gud mi"

    Ayaw ko ingna nga walay bayot/tomboy sa mga muslim? Ngano man lagi ang mga bayot ug tomboy sa kaMusliman mu respeto man lagi sa Islam rites?

    @DUBBY ...

    What makes you say that CATHOLCI PRIEST are GAY ? See what makes HOMOSEXUALS like very UNACCEPTABLE now ? You always resort on something that relates to sticking soemthing on someones AZZ , RECTUM , AZZHOLE , BALAY sa TAE . What is so HONORABLE about it Mr. DUBBY ? Hehehe ....

    Its hard for people to think when it is interpreted differently . Anyone can think but not all can figure out . Since when naay SARADO KATOLIKO ni uyon ug SAME S3X MARRIAGE ? Naa man gani but pangitau-onon pa kaayo . Tan-awa kuno diri sa thread man lang kinsa ang ni uyon sa SAME S3X MARRIAGE to include you , mga SARADO KATOLIKO ba mo ? Mga STRAIGHT ba mo ? Naa ba mo mga RELIHIYON na KRISTYANO ?

    I can't speak in behalf of the westernized Catholics. If they were so rooted in Catholicism, I'd guess they'd be against GAY MARRIAGE because it goes against Catholic doctrine. Even the POPE himself stated that gay marriage is "insidious and dangerous" while at the same time keeping MUM about child abuse committed by priests under HIS umbrella. Talk about HYPOCRISY. If Catholics are against gay marriage, they should at least be CONSISTENT about their stand.
    Everything can be said about ROMAN CATHOLICISM but it doesnt remove the FACT that for us , HOMOSEXUALITY is not NORMAL . Mind you uns ana ang US na akong gipasabot , kung ila na ka BILYON and like what has bene said over and over again , a BILLION THINKING cant be wrong kumpara sa pipila lang ka utok ga dagan unya ingnon dayon ta ug CLOSEMINDED .

    You just said it yourself. Gay marriage is nothing more than a piece of paper and honestly daghan man benefits ani including government, tax, medical, housing, and employment benefits. And I'm not talking about in the US alone; of course sa Pinas pud if ever man gani ma legalize ni sa ato. Why should we be concerned about the PLANS and RITUALS, when ang importante diri ang EQUAL RIGHTS man nga atong ika afford sa mga gay and lesbians? They should be afforded the same rights and benefits that a normal married couple enjoys.
    They can still attain these issues without being MARRIED and commiting a very serious violation to the RC canon laws . Ang issue pod diri is ngano mo gamit man jud sila ug almost the same / similar rituals and practices meant only to be administered during the proper SACRAMENT of MATRIMONY services which is for the UNION of a MAN and a WOMAN .

    @FAQ ...

    Oh , you mean the whole community ? If this from a Philippine chapter , that's not surprising . Looooool ... They can do whatever they want in their own bedroom .
    And you call that ADDING INSULT to the INJURY .

    WHy dont you check their OFFICIAL WEBSITE before you talk about LOCAL CHAPTERS , PHILIPPINE SETTINGS , etc .

    And ... that's what you think . There's no evidence - at least you can provide - that people became bisexuals or homo after serving time in prison . Homosexuality/bisexuality is even common by animals . That argues that being a gay/lesbian is something in nature .
    Wrong analogy . The very PEOPLE who became HOMOSEXUALS after serving time was an example of CHOICE . That is not NATURAL afterall .

    Maybe in the Philippines , some people there probably resort to become gay or lesbian so they can have a high chance to get laid . Hmmmm ...
    I dont know about you or her ein the Philippines . is it like that in Canada ?

    It's also a fact that a COUPLE is composed of the same s3x .
    Last time I checked its not . Since when na siya nahitabo FAQ ? Tabla ra ni ingon ka na you will need 2 BOLTS now to hold on things instead of a BOLT and a NUT . LMFAO !

    Nothing in the holy (plagiarized) book prohibits same-s3x marriage which is the TOPIC in this thread . Go figure ...
    Thats the very loophole or could be one of them that HOMOSEXUALS are trying to manipulate but have you forgotten that in the HOLY BIBLE , their existence alone is prohibited / persecuted / not allowed ?

    Hehehehe... Straight pud ko fafi uy. Kalain nimo uy. Kusi-on taka karon.

    Although yes, I fit the description of the other two. I'm a secular non-Christian and yes, I am not against gay marriage. I'm sure there are conservative Catholics/Christians who share with my stance but they would be a MINORITY.

    Just because the RC teaches that homosexuality is not normal doesn't mean they are correct. And just because BILLIONS of people share the same sentiment doesn't make them all CORRECT. Billions of people thinking the same thing can't be wrong? That analogy in itself is WRONG. I won't even mention RELIGION here because that would be OT.

    So we're talking PHILIPPINES here, am I correct? Granting nga legal ang gay marriage sa Pinas, and these gays magpakasal lang sa HUWES ug dili sa simbahan, ok raka ana?

    it would be better if before sila mufocus aning same *** marriage kay ilang limpyohan sa ilang name. Nakabantay man gud ko nga most cases of AIDS caused by sexual contact are due to same s3x...s3x

    knowing this, people would always regard them as dirty

    maybe thy should try to clean themselves first

    other than that, I don't have a problem with it
