That's a sweeping generalization, and the good part about this generalization is---it's not entirely true.
Remember the recent GAY PARADE in NYC two days after the legalization of gay marriage in New York? I refuse to think that the politicians who supported the legalization are either homosexual themselves, atheists, or non-Christians. I would like to think it is more of treating EVERY person with respect, no matter what sexual identity/gender preference, and role in society.
