    love this part....

However critics, including some religious groups, condemned the work, with one organisation warning that artificial organisms could escape into the wild and cause environmental havoc or be turned into biological weapons. Others said Venter was playing God.

Tsk.tsk.tsk.

Based on an existing bacterium just means they followed some traits of the bacteria in its chromosome but the new cell they produced was derived entirely from inorganic chemicals.

It proved that it is possible for organic life to originate from inorganic materials.

Inom, smoke, kaon ug unhealthy foods, bisan ni advise na ang doctor to refrain it's consumption.

So, si God diay ang nag encourage sa iyang papa mag inom, manigarilyo and etc..?

Second example... Naay uban couples, dugay or dili magka anak. Ge blame dayon si God nga unfair. Pero looking at the root cause again... One of them, or maybe both.. during their young and single lives, nag engage sila ug premarital ***, or worse, multiple sexual partners... then na STD...

So mao diay to ang cause sa ilang infertility/sterility... ang STD due to previous sexual encounters.

And other instances which are too many to mention.

But... maayo nalang, God is passionate and kind. Inspite of the misfortunes, He never forgets us in those times and even afterwards. He still gives us a new chance in life.

Dili man lagi mabalik ang deceased father, but makadawat pod ug other blessings, not only spiritual but sometimes physical and material gifts.

Bisan na infertile, pero ang uban maka anak ra gehapon in a normal way. Ang uban thru artificial... pero financially blessed man sila mao na maka afford ug medical intervention. Ang uban sterile, pero maka ampon pa ug wonderful child.
So what did new born children who have genetic/ birth defects do to deserve such?

Good that you read so much about science news..
But reading your post below is giving me doubts if you really understood the things you read about science..

Did you really read the article you presented? Cause you seemed to fail in understanding it's context..

Funny thing is that even though they're using bacteria to create a synthetic life form the article itself represents a creator..

One thing the experiment has proven is that it is possible for life to come from inorganic material which makes it possible that life originated here on earth given the formation of our planet, water, movement of the tides, the primordial soup of elements and the weather with thunderstorms .. this along with billions of years allowed life to develop from inorganic chemicals...

I know the next thing you will argue is the "Intelligence" behind the creation but... just look at how far your argument has regressed from your non belief in evolution thinking that man made God directly...

Now by saying that those one celled organisms have intelligence behind them, you are acknowledging the fallacy of your previous beliefs.

Take note here that these one celled organisms do not have a brain so to speak but a genetic code.... composed of chromosomes, which are actually capable of being replicated either by humans using computers or by chance thru billions of years and billions of tidepools all over the earth.

Over the course of our history, science has been breaking down beliefs once held by religion and this has caused improvements in man's understanding of his world.

Then you just proved that if both sides are committing fallacies, then a debate that aims to arrive at a conclusion is impossible. I therefore suggest (and will campaign) that threads of this nature be closed and NOT ALLOWED in iStorya.net because its SOLE purpose is for entertainment (i.e. passing the time in the office pag bored mo) and there is no real knowledge being gained here (murag lang, pero in actuality, both sides are not getting anywhere near the truth), because both sides end up committing logical fallacies, as admitted by yanong_banikanhon.

Another thing siguro that the posters here are ganing are merely "pogi points" (i.e. the thought of "siguro mas daghang chicks mo bilib sa akoa diri kay abtik ko motubag sa mga debate, so more chances that I can snag a date!" is attractive to some of the guys who post aggressively in this thread), and nothing else that could be considered really useful in the propagation and search for truth.

Klaro man kaayong non sequitur nang imong statement sa taas. Kay kadtong experiment nga imong gihisgutan, ang source adto usa man ka living organism (bacterium), DILI man inorganic material.

You just contradicted your position sir. Now it's clear that what you presented as a proof is not really a proof of lifeless chemicals that came into life. You're the second person to present it here since most atheist here knows that they used an organism in creating another life.

    Any other article sir?
