Let's stop feeding the troll(s).

    first off, i'm a ma'am

dili man binata ang mga questions. as you see it's addressed to educated, critical thinking christians. the opening statement will help you explain to whom the questions will be addressed to

given an example, why won't god heal amputees?

that question does make sense to critical thinking humans, since we don't consider the word "faith" and "god" in our answers. we answer the question straighforward. that's because it's medically impossible for a human body to grow legs and arms for itself!

now provided that the idea God answers your prayers, it's understood that whenever an amputated man would pray to God and ask him to heal his amputated legs, he should be expecting that God, no matter how medically impossible it would be, will answer the man's prayer and thus, should heal him. but statistically, how many amputated persons have been praying to this God and still weren't able to achieve healing. how pathetic. how sad

for christians, it will be quite disturbing for them to answer this question, that's why most of them create excuse that "perhaps it's god's plan not to heal this amputated man", and then you stop thinkin about it.

that's just one question. and i was able to dig it deeper. hope that enlightens you

that was not addressed to you.. taken out of context.. that was addressed to the post which said there were conflicting statements in the book of genesis..

the question that i keep on asking, which was addressed to you as TS, was what's this for? para unsa may purpose ani na thread.. supposed intelligent as we are dili lang ta mg postē kung wala tay gusto ma achieve..

ang nagsuwat sa genesis doesn't even know what he's writing.

    (1) "And God said, Let there be light" (Gen. 1:3) and "...And the evening and the morning were the first day" (Gen. 1:5), versus "And God said, 'Let there be light in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night.... ' "And God made two lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also.... And the evening and morning were the fourth day" (Gen. 1:14-19).

    (a) God created light on the first day; yet there were no moon, sun or stars until the fourth day;
    (b) how could it be known when the first three days ended if there was no sun until the fourth day?; and
    (c) How could morning be distinguished from evening, if the sun and the moon were yet to be created?

ngano nakasulti man kag binata ang mga questions? kay di ka katubag? try kuno pagtubag ani. does the questions bother you?

an eye opener to denounce their religion?

an eye opener not to hope for the best..

im not totally antagonistic sa imong views sis..
sakto man ka.. all those 10 questions are sound and rational enough..

pero ngano man gyud, what's so wrong in believing?
    its making us sane..

    religion is keeping us alive..

OT: wa man ko gabuot sa mga opinions.. ga libog lang gyud ko sa uban for finding amusement in this kind of topic.. uhm, diri lang gyud ko ni patol na thread.. timing lang.. i respected you for that still..

i firmly believe that religion has done so much pest in our society. i'm sorry for the words. i even created a thread about that.

i'm not coercing them to denounce their faith, my point is, i'm trying to state something's wrong. something's definitely wrong. that's why i raised those questions for me to know what's the purpose of believing on something that is apparently nonexistent.

i believe that when you propose to believe on something, the scientific method should be utilized in defense of the existence, which, as we know about religion, is not using.

if you want to believe then fine. if religion is keeping you alive then OK

but take note, i was able to state the facts. and it all depends on you. you decide
