Once upon a time, before cellphones, ang uso kay PAGERS...now you seldom see anyone who has one (basin gani wala na dyud). Seriously, if makapobre ang insurance, the practice would cease to exist--but look around you, it does exist--it exists because people feel they need it. Same thing with a concept of a supreme being or a religion--people feel they need it. I want to declare that I'm one of those who do not feel this need, and I'm not alone, and all I ask is those who feel the need, that they do not declare me as evil, "may kulang", lost, misguided, or mentally ill. That's all we ask for.

actually sir it depends on your views. We don't have to be consistent to prove that we believe in a God. I myself believe in sreligion science plus religion

we have different purpose nganung we believe in a God,
others may say they need it
others may say the don't but still they believe

Our God has given us the free will to do whatever we want
it's up to us on how to use it
Besides, my purpose in life is to live a life worth living and it is a subjective view in which only i could understand cause akoa man siyang life hehehe

(This could be a bad analogy, but I'll try it anyways) When I check my temperature if I have a fever, I only use one thermometer--I don't have to buy several thermometers to check if what one thermometer's reading is indeed correct compared to another's. The very reason why thermometers are trusted, is because of this consistency. It's the same with "quality control"--the company assures the buyers that their items have been inspected and are consistent. This is how I view science and the scientific method, being a better guide to living--science is a thermometer you can trust. To me, using religion as a guide is like using the back of your hand as a thermometer to check if one has a fever or not--the interpretation can vary from person to person, and to me that's unacceptable.

kami mga agnostic wala pa sigurado kung unsa gyud na ang ila gitawag na "ginoo". basta naa ra na siya diha. wala na nakialam nato. pero ang believers, para nila nakialam daw si lord nato. hinanglan pud mo-pad sa ilang ego ilang lord.
