I don't know how to answer your question using scientific evidence, if that's what you're asking. When you see an animal die, do you think it goes to heaven? Why should humans be any different? The point is, death is a natural process. Every living thing in this planet dies. There is no heaven, purgatory, hell, or life after death.
I used to believe in life after death. Now that I don't believe in this stuff, death doesn't scare me as much. Contrary to religious belief about souls, heaven and hell, to us, death is a natural and necessary process. Once we die that is pretty much it for us. That's our ultimate final destination.
So I try to enjoy life as much as I can while I'm still able to breathe. Because to me,
life is now. If there's anything that scares me about death is the fact that I won't be able to be with my loved ones any longer. Other than that, I will accept death ANYTIME.
