if the idea that God created us is true, it's plain common sense that he should care for his creatures.

excuse me sir, i am attacking the absurd idea of God, and not God as a being.

absurd idea in a sense that religious people are inventing a lot of ideas that God is powerful, God is all knowing, and yet, can't even answer prayers of poor people!

and the objective of this thread is not blaming your God. as usual, another eye opening thread for theists.

It maybe a form of other people, love from family or friends, talents etc. My God is not a bank that if you want cash then He will give it to you. He always answers our prayers. It may not be now but He answers it. It may not be what you want but it is the best for you.

so what's the purpose of praying then if something you ask for is not being given to you, like healing, like prosperity.

i pity a lot of people in the hospitals, suffering from some terrible diseases, yet they believe in a god. they ask god to heal them, spare them, save them. but in the end, they'll die. it is just too heartbreaking when you see some scenarios like that.

if he indeed answers prayers, your God should be able to answer everything, coz if not, it would be against the idea that God is an all knowing, and all powerful supreme being.

as what i said before, if a perfect supreme being created a world full of rot and chaos, that doesn't fit to the qualification of the resume of a supreme being. and i, along with other non believers, are not impressed!

Why are there so many starving people in our world?

sigh....
yes there are people starving in this world,
starving for food
starving for answers
starving for wealth

we are all starving man hehehe
but if you are talking about money then all i can say is this
there are a two situations why people are poor
- born poor
- rich and became poor

Poor people have to accept the fact that if they want to succeed then they have to do their best. Yes, there are a lot of obstacles becasue the world is full of greedy people and envious ones. If you just strengthen your faith then you can be strong enough to have the will to do something about it. It is not easy but never ever solve a problem with another problem. This is also one of the reasons why poor people remain poor. They do desperate measures like selling themselves or robbing a bank. In the end, you will just regret it and it will be more and more difficult for you. These are obstacles that will come along your way. But remember, our life should be based on simplicity. If we just learn to sacrifice our wants and feed our needs, we will have a simple life and we can manage to have a better way of living. Temptation, greed, envy and lack of williningness to do something are some reasons why we are poor.

religion was created by primitive man, who know nothing but conclude every unexplained phenomena to a deity!

therefore, the idea of a God was created by primitive man, without even passing through scientific method.

they automatically jumped into conclusion that an invisible skydaddy exists.
