the material is granite and diorite not a form of concrete.

mention of "uncanny accuracy" of ancient masons unmatched by modern skills yet.

lets stick to the topic rod. .. and squeeze whatever science flavored juices we can to try to figure out answers about this huge blocks of heavy granite.

    mod warnings considered.

i heard a lecture by author john hancock that puma puncu in bolivia is more unexplainable than anything of the ancient sites primarily because of the way these stones were cut, polished and fitted like a giant lego puzzle.

well, he is not considered a scientist by the normal definition but he is known for his meticulous research of facts.

ancient time or modern time, the stone is already identified as GRANITE and DIORITE.

kita ko sa usa ka series ani, usa sa ilang explanation is ilang gi mold ang mga rock through intense heat nga malanay na ang bato, pero dili ko contented sa ilang explanation.

Granite and diorite are examples of nature's hardest materials. I've read before that it is possible to carve or make a cut on these "hard stones" in the modern times with a technology such as ultrasonic machining. The stones mentioned are quite very old. The people working on it may have acquired their own crude version of ultrasonic like machining but quite effective. The indentations are quite amazing on the photos.
