Im using NOD32 ok ra man
SInce wala ko internet connection, maglisod ko og Update sa akong AVG mao sometimes BUTA na jud xa with regards to Viruses...
sa karon am using this:
Avira AntiVir PersonalEdition Classic
Avira AntiVir PersonalEdition Classic reliably protects your private computer against dangerous viruses, worms, Trojans and costly dialers.
...sa akong pag assess...its running smoothly so far..
OT: unsa may nindot nga web filter nga softwarepang house use lang..
kanang pina norton internet security ba...that you can block category of website
eg: gambling, porn..
i used to recommend norton but currently what they have is bloatware. I've seen lots of PC's crawling to a halt because of Norton internet security. One time it would not even let me get online even with NIS uninstalled.. Good thing there is an special uninstaller for it. of all the commercial products out there, I would recommend PC Cillin 2006.. it has firewall, wireless protection, antispyware, antivirus, anti phishing, website blocking, sensitive data protection etc all-in-one. Good on resource management too. If you don't like managing a lot of software.. then it is for you. It's not free though. For free antivirus, I would recommend AVG. they've got great detection record.
@djereza: PC Cillin Internet Security Suite 2006 has exactly that feature you're looking for.
Kaspersky is still #1... lau ra kaau ang Norton ug AVG.. pero its too strict.. super secure.. step down nlng ko to #2.. BitDefender.. wala lang silai free edition.. but they kick virus butt..
bro radj nindot jud k kaau ang kaspersky 2006. i've been using this for 6 months n, la ko problem any virus, worm, or highkjack makuha pod nya unlike s uban antivirus dli makuha
nindot jd lagi ang kaspersky.. pero just like Avast, makakanga sa akong pc.. ambot ngano.. nndot bya unta.. makakanga lang.. mao na.. settle nlng ko sa BitDefender.. gahi man sad..![]()
para sa ako kaspersky ga.an ra maski mag realtime scan pa
sige naman ug balik2x na thread uy
None of the listed.
I am using nod32 and lock 'n stop, peer guardian 2, process guard and counterspy, that keeps me clean until now.
Additionally, I block ip's in my routers firewall, like the gromozon ip's etc., so no infection...yet.
Additionally, "safe" browsing. If you do not visit warez sites and other spam sites to just get the latest illegal copy of a software, you wont easily be infected with trojans etc.
Its as I wrote anywhere else, if you go into a war zone with your new bullet proofed vest, somebody will shoot you in the head... so the best protection in that case is NOT to go into the war zone, means dont visit knows trojan, warez and spammer sites. There is no 100% protection, one should keep that in mind. Malware writer are always a step ahead, so even your "best" program will not protect you 100%.
