Just go talk to a Philippine Scout Ranger trooper and be ready with the stories. Akong silingan sauna niingon nangulekta siya ug dunggan sa kontra niya. He doesn't openly discuss this, pero kung mag-inom na then mahubog na siya -- the stories come out. He was a -60 gunner... Big guy. About 6 ft and itom kaayo. Used to be a star player sa imong lungsod.
Grabeng kamangay kay gabii sila kasagaran mo-operate. They own the night. Their battles do not find their way into media, though. Which I think is a good thing.
The last test nila before they graduate is a real operation against a rebel camp. Same thing with LRB. This is what people in the Philippine Army tell me.

The Philippine SEALS / NAVSOG / SWAG are no jokes .
They are not different from the US NAVY SEALS / NAVSOG / SPECWAR in terms of training and capabilities .
" A well regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the People to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed. " - 2nd Amendment , Bill of Rights of the United States of America
Yep. They cross-train regularly with US Navy SEALs. And they go out on mission together down South.

Though the guys pictured here are SWCC, pero you can bet if the Swicks are here then so are the SEALs.Members of “Special Boat Team 12” from Coronado preparing for work earlier today. The Philippine armed forces are hard at work in the battle against international terrorists. They are making progress.
