I'm going through an LDR right now. We talk everynight for 1-3 hours at max, and i call her about 2-4 times a day, or whenever i can between work (for about 5mins or more).

This has been keeping us going for 3 years. As long as u have a strong communication foundation, then everything will be okay.

Agree... Open communications is the only key... constant and open communications..

If both parties still agree to sacrifice even an ounce of their time to establish communication to the other... I guess LDR can and will still work...

we often fail to do this muna we didn't make it to three years... we had porblems which couldn't be solved coz whenever we attempt to talk about it, either of us stays silent... and whenever we talk over it personally, wlay japon klaro...

My gf and i have had a LDR for 3 years actually. i can only go home about 2x a year. So it has been a challenge.

When we DO have an arguement, i often stay quiet. Not because i'm fed up, but because i have nothing to say (she usually scolds me and she's right). Or im soo tired, that i can't think about stuff too much. many times, she snaps because it's hard to solve problems.

But i have one whole day off during a week, and i spend that whole day to talk to her on skype. There, we can solve any problems or catch up.

Girls are demanding for time. they dont ask for anything material. But my efforts to giving her as much time as i can has paid off.

I hope your relationship improves over time.
