Dile ra lagyo ang diperensya sa kadaghanon sa protestant ug Katoliko sa Germany. In Germany there are 26,449,926 protestant Churches(32.31%) while Catholics are 25,176,000 (30.7%). In America there 68 million members while 170,878,400 ang protestants. how about Countries where Catholicsm are predominant like France, Spain, Italy, and Luxemborg are they poor countries.

I think the religious makeup of a country isn't so important.... what we should look at is the "Religiosity" of a country.

Religiosity simply means how important a role religion plays in the lives of the people.

Studies have shown that Developed countries have very low religiosity figures. Germany for example despite having a mix of Catholic and other Christian religions, the church does not have so much influence in government and in the way people live their lives. The church is even taxed by the government in Germany.

On the other hand, countries that have high religiosity figures are predominantly economically poor.
