we're that same. It's really confusing when you realize that you have no father in physical at all. I mean, a father who will be there for you at times of happiness, sadness. At time nga magtagay mo together sa ubang amigo and uncle, then wala imo papa pero thankful gihapon kay naay mo-act as papa.

My dad and I always talk, especially after having taking his blood pressure. My fondest memory with my dad was always during those times. I miss my dad so much. If there's somebody i want to see right now, its my late dad.
I miss you papa...i love you..

I grew up with my dad my whole life. I guess when I came out of my mother's womb, it was his hand that I held first. He's every guy I've ever wanted to have a relationship with. This is probably the reason it took me too long to decide to settle down. It was always difficult to find someone like him (at least in my own eyes).

I have had so many fond memories with my Dad, most of them were about me holding his hand at the most difficult times in my life. Though he raised me to be independent, there were times that even when I had learned to stand on my own, I longed for my his hand.

I remember I was so weak then that I had to be sent to the hospital. We were commuting. When the signal lights turned green, I was so weak to even step on the stairs leading to the jeepney. It was then that my father extended his hand for me to hold. The other time, during my major operation, my Dad's hand was the one I held. I was so scared then but I had to be brave because he's being brave, too.

Now, I wish I could still hold my Dad's hand sooner in the future when I finally hold someone else's hand. I hope his would still be there, even when the hand of the guy I choose to spend the rest of my life with is no longer there.

I came home this afternoon from work so gloomy coz of a bad mood.
I dunno what came over me that I simply kissed my Dad then left his
room without any word. He sensed already that there was amiss about
the whole thing... after shower, I went straight to my PC and browsed
through some pathetic sad songs and sulk infront of the screen while
posting away in the forum... the music was so loud and was in near tears
then out of the blue, he tapped my shoulder and kissed my head and
    said, "Langga, coke o.."

I was totally moved by his simple yet caring gesture that he sympathizes
with me even if I didn't tell him what bothered me hours ago.

    My Pappy totally rocks!

I could still remember the memories of us going to the beach to fly kite, fish and swim together. He also taught me how to ride a motorcycle at a very young age. My mom would always scold him that time, because he raised me like a boy. He longed to have a son to hang out with, but my bro was still a baby back then. I'm glad we got to spend those times together, because he was gone too soon...
