wow.... is it really about religion, or the power from which religion holds that corrupted many..... erase religion, the world will still be as messy as it is....why? man lives.... as long as men exists, society exists...as long as society exists, a hierarchy exists...when the that exists, power and corruption is the name of the game... It is more than religion that made a mess in this world...if we only see one angle, then we are just bias....

Opium is a drug. I did not say religion is a drug, lulz.

I personally know many intellectuals right here in the country who equal their knowledge with their faith. This should be it, ideally. Because when you are smart and faithful at the same time, you will not allow yourself to be dictated by the leaders blindly, if you get my point.

Japan is perhaps the best example of this, where majority belong to either Buddhism or Shinto. Look at them now.

China is also a good example. Very religious and respectful to their ancestors, too. Look at them now.

In the Philippines, however, majority are the faithful only. Thus, what we are now.

first off.. agnostic and atheist are not religions

so there's no sense in arguing with you coz you consider those religious views as "religions" though they aren't

This is about Atheism

Why are you telling an atheist/agnostic what atheism and agnosticism mean? O_O

I've mentioned in another thread that faith is a highly subjective matter. No matter how many definitions you post, faith will always be what it is to the person.

I'm agnostic and I am telling you that agnosticism is not my religion. Last time I checked my NSO, the words Roman Catholic was there. But I am agnostic.
