OnT. first is this, since we are stupid creatures we can't phase out religion

second, the existence of evil does not depend on religion, you may eradicate the word evil but it does not stop the criminals from committing a crime, the crazy people to stop from their delusions and it definitely cannot stop the politicians from being corrupt.

third, so let's say you stop evil by making very strict rules such as killing those who are caught, you cannot erase conscience... eradicating religion is like emptying ones memory and by then you are already a puppet

fourth, what should stop is the war between atheist and theist... nagdala lang nag gubot

fifth, the main principle of my religion is to love on another, clearly what you lack is love. There are a lot of guys here, you can just try to know them instead of dreaming on something so impossible.

sixth, if you can move my faith then there maybe a chance that i might be convinced that you are right...

religion divides people. but it doesn't mean it is a pest and it causes evil. because somehow, religion represents our Faith in Him... it is still comforting to know that we all have faith in Him despite the fact that we always see and understand it in different aspects-- thus, religion.

Lots of people here go on defensive mode when confronted with reality. Mao ng daghan diri sige reklamo kay gi prangkahan man gud sila sa tinuod.

I'm glad the TS is making threads like this. It's a wake up call for Filipinos. Stop living a life of lies pretending nothing is wrong. Perhaps it is now time for the average Pinoy to open his/her eyes to reality.

BUT... here's the big BUT... the Philippines would be way better off without religion. Religion is what drags our country down.

Extermination? No. Regulation? Yes.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with religion, its an inviolable human right. A problem will only exist if a certain religion will start speaking FOR the people and not TO the people. I believe that's what happened to Iglesians during the last elections, yes? And now, the masses stand on the RH and Divorce Bills.

Is there anyone here who can explain or remind us of the separation of the Church and the State again?

i think what needs immediate extermination is selfishness for people who think that their belief is better than any others. Oh common! We are not the same. Don't judge what we believe in kay you don't know what we've been through. If okay para ninyo ang atheism then let it be, just don't expect us to convert.

I solely believe in my religion. I know it has its flaws but why should i judge the past? Just because the priests are doing wrong kay malain naku ug mudoubt naku sa akong pagka RC. They are not my God. Even if you feel nga bati among religion, rspetoay lang ta bai. We all have the freedom to choose our religion. At least my religion never taught me to say bad things to other religion or principle.
