be aware mga peeps... fake 5 and 10peso coins is on the loose... they look pretty the same, but theres a difference..

1. rough daw ang surface sa fake coins.
2. mudikit sa magnet yung fake.
3. medyo dako ug gamay ang font sa mga letters sa fake..

Sacks of fake five and ten peso coins were confiscated by the police authorities just recently. Even coins are now used illegally. Apparently, these fake coins are easily drawn by magnet, unlike that of coins that are issued by the BSP.

I remember one of my classmates working in BSP saying that the materials for these coins are imported so that they cannot be easily imitated. More so, even if they can be faked, it will be known since the materials are not the same.

Hay naku, we should be aware of these fake coins that could circulate in the market. At least, the authorities were able to catch these people.

Who would really make such a thing... fake P5 and P10 coins?

It takes more than P5 or P10 to make just even a small token used in the arcade. How much more sa P5 coin and P10 coin nga medyo dako iya size.

bitaw sa? pero i think dako gihapon sila ganansiya ani coz they're probably mass producing it. although at least, kung ma-ilad man jud ta, maau nalang dili kaau dako ug alkansi, unlike anang ma-igo ka ug p1,000 peso bill, kana, dapat najud ka mohilak..
