i monitor the interest rate daily (pdst-f) as this is what we use for bank loans' interest. infairness, nikaubos ang rates sa iya term. karon ra nitaas.

bsp use inflation targeting for interest rate setting. meaning kung ubos ang rates, most probably kay ubos ang inflation. there are other factors but inflation is a major one. 4% inflation is still ok i think.

i noticed that the pump priming activities to stimulate economy of this administration are currently at slow mode. there are some projects which were deferred and funds were withheld. most mayors of the LGUs we've visited attested to this.

pnoy expanded gma's conditional cash transfer program where each poor and qualified family will receive P1,400 monthly dole out. the budget is P21B. this is a pump priming activity as poor people would use this to buy commodities and keep the money moving.

i can't comment on the state of our economy under pnoy since it is yet too early. results of an administration's economic efforts are usually felt years after.
