The commandments on the BIBLE doesnt need to be more specific on the context of its premises..unlike the Constitution in which the articles were detailed by a corresponding sections...when the commandment said to *Honor Thy Mother and Father* then it was refering to a general concept of doing good to your parents..doing good could be [avoid incest, dont berate, dont revolt..blah blah blah]...my point here is, dont read the words of the Bible between the lines..there might be words in there that have postive in meaning but to some atheist, whiners, pessimist and naysayers are the other way aorund..then eventually they will use it to discredit its credibility....and also dont associate every words of the bible to a one sided meaning since u cant anticipate what GOD must had in mind when giving that commandment...."Honor Thy Mother and Father" what comes to mind is a command or law to honor and respect your parents. To me it doesn't quite read/associated/interpreted as "Thou Shall Not Have *** with Family or Close Relatives" - Incest…which could possibly be a more relevant commandment of the the Big Ten.
