Why do Filipino movies suck?

Most Filipino movies don't have originality. They usually copy from Western movies. Another thing is we don't have the technology yet to make some of these movies. Especially movies that have animation. I am not putting down our local animators but let's be honest.. lahi ra jud ang ang western movies.

Ang mga main stream movies siguro... Mao na nga mas mo prefer ko ug mga INDIE movies kay sa main stream kay PUOL galore na kaayo ang show nila....

I wouldn't put the effort that "Filipino movies" suck, in general. Mainstream Filipino movies suck big time, but indie Filipino movies kick a**.

Totally AGREE... pero naa pud uban indie movies nga wala'y ayo.....

with Coco Martin, i am at awe with his talent jud...well, inevitable jud ang rated r kai it was needed in the story but he didn't go naked in that movie..it was a prostitute who got naked so i guess makaya ra nimo...it's like a guillermo del toro film jud ang Kinatay...it was even critically welcomed sa cannes or was it another film fest?? basta nindot xa.
then there's this ZOMBADINGS: PATAYIN SA SHOKOT SI REMINGTON...
deads na si lolo kai hasta pud lingawa...

there is more to indie films jud rather than that of mainstream nga makacomatose ang plot sa story kai cge rag balik balik...

indie films really show the reality of what's happening in our society jud...whether the film was shot with taste or not, it still is the real thing and not the reel thing..hehehe...
