What I did just a few minutes ago (and I hope I did it right) was click the report button on the first post of the newer thread. In the text field I typed "Existing thread:" and pasted the link to the older thread.

naa man gud ko nakita nga thread before nga mas nauna pa kay sa subsequent similar thread, pero ang karaan man nuon nga thread ang na delete nga mas daghan pa gani to ug pages kay sa new similar thread.

i actually haven't read all of the rules..
kay di naman gud dapat mag read pa ug rules,
