Yes its a generalization of the IDEA/BELIEF of ATHEISM not Atheists, please see the difference. Ang ako comment is sa concept of Atheism.

You cannot use the word "Perhaps" (removing the absolute basis...) kay Mao jud nay tinuod nga concept sa Atheism in case you dont know. No God therefore no Absolute basis of Morality - Mao tawn nay concept sa Tinuod nga Atheism.

Again, why man ka ma Concern if Christians/Theist view an Atheist as negative or Bad where in Fact Di man pariha ug basis sa good or bad and Atheist ug Christianity? Christians/Theist believe in absolute being which is the GIVER of their basis But Atheist Dont believe in that absolute being and therefore different basis of morality.

So if you dont wish to participate in this discussion - does it mean you will Not answer my question on where man gikuha sa mga Atheists ang Basis on how to determine Bad from Good? Naa bay absolute Guidelines ang mga Atheists or based ra sa ila tagsa tagsa ka huna huna ug gibati?

As an Atheist, I determine that Bad is bad, simply because I know that by sticking a knife to another persons liver can cause serious injury, and Good is good, simply because I know that by helping an old woman crossing the street will save her life.

You dont need to fill in the blanks with GOD, to complete the sentence of morality.

Yes, I find this debate futile--I'm a practical person, so I seek practical ends to a discussion, rather than intellectual or spiritual fulfillment--thus all I want out of my response to your post is for people wielding pitchforks and torches NOT to knock on my front door and declare they want to burn me at the stake for being an atheist and frankly your previous post doesn't help.

This is precisely why some people blindly want religion in their lives--they are not like you or other theology-minded individuals who post in this thread who passionately and perhaps genuinely trying to seek truth and enlightenment--most of them are actually like me, their practical aim being to keep the "hysterically frantic religious mob" from knocking on their front doors and burning them on the stake as well (i.e. this is how most people think "Kay kung mag Born Again na ko, dili na ko samukon sa mga Born Again sa among workplace if "na-save" naba ko, kay I'm one of them naman gud." type of mentality ba).

Furthermore while this scene of "pitchforks and torches" may be a funny and perhaps impossible event to actually happen in these modern times, there are some subtle equivalents of this in our modern society--i.e. religious/people of faith in your workplace avoiding and alienating you because you're an atheist and thus they automatically assume you lack morals etc.

Actually that's even worse. Accusing great minds as atheists. And if you believe that is so, the only culprit who actually see them as such is the catholic church. The church attacking their own followers.

What he meant was morality will be subjective. What maybe good for you maybe bad from another. What's your basis of good and bad without the concept of absolute morality coming from a God.

What are your basis that giving serious injury to another is bad, and saving an old woman's life is good?

It's the atheists who labeled them as atheists assuming that great minds have the same principle and belief as them, not the theists. That's why Einstein was irritated by them..
