oh! i havent tried holy basil yet! sure! id love to get some of the seeds to try it out. We can trade if u want. I've got other seeds here like rosemary, sage, marjoram, chives, corriander and a few others.

The purple one smells exactly like sweet basil.. it just looks different. I personally like it coz it decorates the house and smells good too! haha.

if u do plan to come over, let me know ahead of time.

oh! can i get a tiny tiny division of your peppermint and mint? I heard that they spread like crazy even with just one sprout. i had a tarragon, but it died. Is there any way to propagate them by cuttings? i read that u need rooting hormones for that, but i cant find any in Cebu. I tried rooting tarragon in water, but it died too.

    trade trade!

i had a mint plant (which died coz i forgot to water it one HOT HOT day). I tried cutting a few stems and putting it in a pot of soil and it died. The only success i had was when i took one that was already rooting, and then it spread.

Cge, i'll go raid the supermarket tomorow

I do organic gardening as well, but only to decorate my garden and personal consumption.. like tomatoes and a few herbs&spices.

Gardening is such a great hobby! It's addicting and very fulfilling.
    happy gardening!
nice! wish i had the space to do something like this. hope you don't mind me asking, how much did it cost to setup?
