From CDO to Davao weve had a trip via BUDA. It isnt really that cold at that time when we passed the mountainous areas, but we indeed turned off the aircon of the van to feel the cold fresh air. Scenery is superb, especially if you stop by at the Overview in Bukidnon (although the place is not well-maintained). Road conditions is good except for some parts which is still under construction in bukidnon and a bumpy part upon reaching davao (at the mountainous part).
We departed from CDO at 7 am and reached SM davao 3 pm. 8 hours since we just asked the driver to be not too fast and we also spent an hour in Overview and Jollibee malaybalay.

err...do we need to bring thick clothing even if we're just passing thru the mountanous area? I'm assuming we're passing a mountainous area because of the "Little Baguio" nickname.

Wait a minute...how many percent of the route is located in a high altitude or mountainous area?

    Thanks in advance!
people are "advising" you here because they know...there are many things can happen when you travel that far and that higher elevation route....But if you insist then just bring a sleeveless shirt and shorts. That would serve you well.

I was merely asking for more opinions and details and I got more details from kreik101 (thanks again bro! )

Anyway eh if you look and have read 2 posts above your "sleeveless and shorts" remark, I have replied there already that I would be bringing a jacket because of your and other members advice..

Read more before you give unnecessary remarks like that tsk-tsk-tsk...

don't forget to stop by roadway cafe along valencia for lunch or at camp phillips for the steak

the size is generous but the quality of meat is not at par with known hotel or steak houses
