I agree with you weedmeister2. How come we don't hear much bruhaha about filipinos marrying rich filipinos? how come they're not judge like the way we judge those marrying foreign nationals? isn't that discrimination?

hell yeah it is... we dont hear much about it because most people unconsciously think "wow, naka jackpot siya!", and of course, most people are afraid to speak up in the face of wealth, lest they be branded as "inggit"...

i knew you'd be shocked na ning entra ko diri, but since my father is french, and my wife is canadian, this topic is close to my heart... I've had to live all my life with closed-minded people shouting "HEY JOE!" to my dad almost once a day, and giving my parents a piercing look when we walk by... Government offices and Taxis overcharging when they see a white man, etc...

there were times when i even became ashamed of who i was and my mixed blood, and other times that i would walk up to the "HEY JOE!" hecklers and just punch them in the face (of course they didnt even know what the heck they did wrong...) I cant even count the times i noticed a family staring at my parents and talking in hushed tones while we ate peacefully in a restaurant, and i had to actually stand up, walk to their table and ask them if they had a problem...

This may seem normal to those closed minded people here, but then again, I really dont give a flying f*ck or try to curb them anymore in the hopes that they'd one day holler "NIGGA" in Compton, or "SPIC" in East L.A. and meet their maker...
